Correction Clock-in

Home > Clock-in Mode > Correction Clock-in

Administrators can tap Correction Clock-in on the Home page in Clock-in Mode to enter the Correction Clock-in page. When an administrator should have clocked in but was unable to complete the clock-in for certain reasons, a correction clock-in application can be submitted. Correction clock-in records must be reviewed and approved by the Reviewer before they are officially included in the clock-in records.

This process ensures the accuracy and fairness of clock-in records and also helps prevent unnecessary omissions or discrepancies.

If the administrator does not see this feature, it means the administrator has disabled this feature.

Add Correction Clock-in

      • If no shift is selected, the checkpoint cannot be selected.
  5. Clock-in Time

    • Enter the time that should originally have been used for clock-in.
  6. Upload Photo

    • Administrators can choose to take a photo in real time or upload an existing photo from the album. Please also attach supporting clock-in evidence for reviewer verification, such as:

      • A company clock photo showing the administrator’s arrival date and time
      • A photo of the clock-in machine at the company entrance
      • An office environment photo showing the administrator’s workspace
    • These supporting documents will help accelerate the review process and ensure the accuracy of clock-in records.

    • Notice! Uploaded attachments must not exceed 25 MB. Before using this feature, the organization creator must subscribe to the Premium Storage Space plan to enable cloud storage for uploading attachment files.

  1. Correction Clock-in Attempt Calculation

    • Regardless of whether the correction clock-in application is approved, each submission will be counted toward the correction clock-in attempt total.
    • Correction clock-in attempts reflect the number of submitted applications rather than the number of approved applications.
  2. Correction Clock-in Not Approved

    • When a correction clock-in application is not approved, the system will automatically restore the attempt counted for that application.
    • This design prevents unsuccessful applications from affecting the user’s correction clock-in attempt quota.

Notes

  • Correction clock-in attempts are records of user application behavior and are used to restrict excessive or unreasonable applications.
  • If correction clock-in applications are rejected multiple times, it is recommended to review whether the application reasons comply with regulations and communicate with the reviewer.

  • Delete and reapply correction clock-in: If a correction clock-in record contains errors, the original record must first be deleted before submitting a new correction clock-in application.

Ensure that relevant data is verified before deleting or reapplying correction clock-in to avoid time record errors caused by repeated operations or accidental deletion.

Q2: Are correction clock-in attempts recalculated annually?

A: The default number of correction clock-in attempts is 12. Currently, they are not recalculated annually. Q3: What is the “Correction Clock-in” feature? Why do administrators need to use this feature?

A: The Correction Clock-in feature allows administrators to apply for supplemental clock-in records when normal clock-in cannot be completed for certain reasons. This feature is very important because it ensures that even if omissions occur, administrators’ working hours can still be completely recorded, maintaining the accuracy and fairness of clock-in records. Administrators who forget to bring their phones, experience phone battery depletion, or encounter other special situations can apply through this feature.

Q4: How do I apply for correction clock-in? What information must be filled in during application?

A: To apply for correction clock-in, go to the Correction Clock-in page from the Home page in Clock-in Mode, then tap the Correction Clock-in button. Required information includes correction clock-in reason (such as forgetting to clock in, not bringing the phone, etc.), clock-in status (start work or end work), clock-in date (only past dates can be selected), and clock-in time (enter the original intended clock-in time). In addition, shift periods (if available) can be selected and related photos can be uploaded as supporting evidence to accelerate the review process.

Q5: What is the review process for correction clock-in applications? Who will receive notifications?

A: After submitting a correction clock-in application, the system will automatically notify the designated Correction Clock-in Reviewer to conduct the review. The reviewer will receive a push notification. Only after approval by the reviewer will the correction clock-in record officially take effect and be included in the clock-in records. When the application is approved, the system will also notify the creator and the highest-level administrator in addition to the reviewer.

Q6: How can I check the status of correction clock-in records? What do different symbols represent?

A: Administrators can enter the Correction Clock-in page from the Home page in Clock-in Mode, then tap Any Correction Clock-in Record to view its status. Symbols displayed beside the record indicate: a funnel symbol means the correction clock-in application is waiting for review. A check mark symbol means the correction clock-in application has been approved and officially included. A cross symbol means the reviewer did not approve the correction clock-in application.

Q7: What are the functions of “Enable Correction Clock-in” and “Limit Correction Clock-in Attempts”? Where can they be configured?

A: The Enable Correction Clock-in feature determines whether employees can apply for correction clock-in online. It can be configured on the Organization > My Organization page in Management Mode. The Limit Correction Clock-in Attempts feature can restrict the number of correction clock-in applications employees can submit. It can also be configured on the Organization > My Organization page in Management Mode. When this feature is enabled, each submitted application will be counted toward attempts even if not approved. If not approved, counted attempts will be automatically restored.

Q8: Who can be assigned as a correction clock-in reviewer? How many reviewers can be assigned to one employee?

A: Correction clock-in reviewers can be assigned as the creator, the highest-level administrator, or an administrator in the same group as the employee. Currently, only one correction clock-in reviewer can be assigned for each employee.

Q9: How are correction clock-in attempts calculated and restored? What is the impact of resetting correction clock-in attempts?

A: Each submitted correction clock-in application (regardless of approval status) will be counted toward correction clock-in attempts. If the application is not approved, counted attempts will be automatically restored. The default number of correction clock-in attempts is 12 and can be adjusted on the employee personal information page. Tapping reset correction clock-in attempts on the Organization > My Organization page in Management Mode will reset all personnel correction clock-in usage attempts to 12.

Q10: How can correction clock-in records be deleted? Can they be modified or restored after deletion?

A: Approved correction clock-in records will automatically be converted into official clock-in records. The deletion method is the same as regular clock-in records. General users can find and delete them in All Clock-in Records in Clock-in Mode. Administrators can find and delete them in All Clock-in Records under Clock-in Records and Management in Management Mode. Please note that correction clock-in records cannot be modified directly once submitted and approved. Deleted correction clock-in records will be permanently removed and cannot be restored. If records contain errors, delete the original record and submit a new correction clock-in application. Deleting applications before reviewer approval may cause notification abnormalities.

Q11: I cannot see Correction Clock-in?

A: If employees cannot see Correction Clock-in in Clock-in Mode, the most likely reason is that the organization administrator has not enabled the correction clock-in feature for employees. Administrators can enable correction clock-in for employees at:

Home > Management Mode > Organization > My Organization > Correction Clock-in Feature

Q12: How can correction clock-in attempts be increased?

A: Only administrators can increase employees’ correction clock-in attempts. Please contact the administrator to increase attempts. Administrators can tap Personnel on the Home page in Management Mode, then select Personal Information, and then tap Any Employee to enter the personal information editing page. Remaining correction clock-in attempts are displayed there and can be increased.

Q13: What should I do if employees delete applications before administrator review?

A: If employees delete submitted application records before administrator review, there will be no record of that application in the backend. Employees must resubmit the application before it can be reviewed again.

Q14: Can newly joined employees correct clock-in for yesterday?

A: Newly joined employees have their employment date set as their joining date. Correction clock-in cannot be applied for dates before the employment date. However, if the employment date has already been adjusted to the employee’s actual joining date, newly joined employees can directly correct clock-in records for past dates after the employment date. If the employment date has not yet been modified, go to Personnel in Management Mode, then select personal information, and update the employee’s employment date before performing correction clock-in operations.

Q15: If I forgot to take a photo during clock-in, how can I add the clock-in photo afterward?

A: If employees want to add photos after clock-in, they can delete the original clock-in record first, then perform correction clock-in and upload the photo at the same time. Another method is to enter the My Uploads page and upload correction clock-in photos directly.

Q16: Can more than two correction clock-in applications exist at the same time?

A: SwipePoint does not allow more than two correction clock-in applications with the same time. After submitting the first application, if another application with the same time is submitted again, SwipePoint will display the message “Duplicate record. This time has already been correction clocked in.” If employees want to resubmit correction clock-in applications, please delete the original correction clock-in application first and then submit again.
